How we find the best people We are experts in strategy. The three founding Partners are all INSEAD MBAs and have strategy consulting or business development backgrounds. So we understand what the job involves, what our clients seek and we know how to look for it at interview.
We also have the most up-to-date information on the strategic talent market in the UK, Continental Europe and beyond. We know who is working where, we know who has the strongest reputations, we know many candidates personally, and we know how to use our network to source the right people for you.
All this means we won't miss a great candidate, we'll recognise the right talent for you when we see it AND, having been in their shoes, we can present the role compellingly.
How we 'execute at speed' We quickly get to a strong long list:
- not starting from scratch - we start with our existing network to pin-point quickly the best candidates for your specific needs
- devoting the right level of resource to the assignment. Typically this is the lead Director or Principal and a Consultant, supported by research and administration staff
- setting milestones, pre-booking interview slots with clients, limiting the number of assignments being handled at any one time and continually exploring with clients new ways of working to speed up completion times
How we use our clients' time wisely We take it as a personal failure if a candidate we recommend for interview disappoints you. We work hard to make sure this rarely happens by:
- spending time with our clients to really understand the role, company culture and qualities sought
- tailoring our interviews to test specifically for what you seek and to be sure of the match with candidates' career aspirations
- preparing (not spoon feeding) our candidates so they can give a true account of themselves to our clients
We feel if we can achieve a job offer from four candidate introductions, we have used our client's time well.
